When DanTheMan said that the others were "gone, all gone", I thought about the Dyatlov Pass and what happened there in 1959; how a team of nine ski hikers from the Ural Polytechnical Institute died in mysterious circumstances on the eastern slopes of Kholat Syakhl mountain (literally translated as "mountain of the dead"). The incident is so bizarre and strange that to this day it escapes all attemps at an explanation.

How is it the same as what happened at the Dyatlov Pass, can you tell me? Do you think they died? That sort of thinking has me worried. I wouldn't go there if I were you, best keep optimistic until we know more.
